How Leave and Blockouts Appear on the Roster
The roster automatically surfaces leave and availability so you never accidentally schedule someone who is away.
What You'll See
-
Approved leave is shown on the roster grid so you can see who is unavailable.
-
Blockout dates (employee-submitted unavailability) also appear on the grid.
-
If you try to assign a shift that conflicts with a blockout, a warning dialogue appears with the option to Proceed Anyway or Cancel.

Tip: Check leave and blockouts before scheduling to avoid conflicts.
