How to Add Attachments and Comments to Leave
Timecloud allows you to upload supporting documents and communicate on leave requests.
Adding an Attachment
Some leave types support or require file attachments (e.g., a medical certificate for sick leave).

Open the Add Leave form or Edit an existing request

If the leave type supports attachments, an Attachment section appears at the bottom of the form

Click Upload File to select a document

The attached file name appears with a remove option

If the attachment is marked as required (shown with a *), you must upload a file before saving

Viewing Attachments

In the leave applications table, look for the image icon in the Attachments column

Click the icon to view the uploaded document

Leave Comments / Messages

In the leave applications table, click the comment icon in the Attachments column to open the comments thread

Type your message (up to 250 characters) and click Send

A highlighted comment icon indicates existing comments on the request
-
Both employees and managers can communicate through this thread
