# How to Cancel Leave

## Employees can cancel their own pending leave requests directly from the leave page.

### **Steps to Cancel Leave**

1. Navigate to the **Leave** page
2. Find your leave request in the table
3. Ensure the request is in **Pending Approval** status
4. Click the **Cancel** (X icon) in the **Action** column

5. Confirm the cancellation in the dialogue that appears

### **Important Notes**

- You can only cancel leave requests that are still **Pending Approval**
- Once a request has been approved by your manager, you cannot cancel it yourself — contact your manager to have it reset
- Cancelled requests will show a **Cancelled** status in the table
