How to Edit an Existing Shift

You can update any active shift at any time. Some changes may prompt you to choose an effective date so existing roster entries aren't retroactively altered.

From the Shifts Page

  1. Go to the Shifts page from the main menu.
  2. Click on the shift row in the list to open it.
  3. Make your changes across any of the available tabs (General, Breaks, Allowances, Role Requirements).
  4. Click Save.
  5. If prompted, select the date from which the changes should take effect, then confirm.

From the Roster Shift View

You can also edit a shift without leaving the roster.

  1. Switch to Shift View using the View dropdown on the roster.
  2. Click the Edit shift (pencil) button.

  3. An edit modal opens on the same page — make your changes across the available tabs.
  4. Click Save.

  5. The roster refreshes automatically to reflect your changes.
