How to Map Employees to Payroll
Before you can publish timesheets, each Timecloud employee needs to be linked to their matching record in your payroll system.
Mapping Employees

Go to Payroll > select your provider > Manage Employees.

Each row shows a Timecloud employee with their first name, last name, and email.

Use the Action dropdown in each row to select the matching payroll employee.

A sync icon will appear confirming the mapping is successful.

Use the Worked Hours? checkbox to control whether worked hours are included in exported timesheets for that employee.

Use the header checkbox to select or deselect all employees at once.
Importing Employees from Payroll
If employees exist in your payroll provider but are not yet in Timecloud, you can import them directly:

Click the Import Employees button at the top of the page.

Select the employees you want to import from the dialogue.

Click Import.
Imported employees are automatically created in Timecloud and mapped to their payroll records.
