How to Review Verification Indicators and Period Totals

Verification indicators help you confirm the authenticity of time entries. Period totals give you a quick summary at a glance.

Time Stamps

The Time Stamps on the Timesheet display an employee’s clock-in and clock-out times. In addition to these timestamps, you can find information such as cost centres, sub-codes, locations, verification photos (if taken), and any accompanying comments.

  • Black Text: Indicates a "live" clock-in.
  • Blue Text: Signifies that the employee has modified their own attendance record.
  • Red Text: Represents edits made by a manager to the employee's attendance, or a system-generated auto clock-out that occurs when the user clocks into the next job item.
  • Highlighted Orange: Shows that the user has clocked in or out outside of an approved geofence.

Attendance Icons

  • Speech Bubble: Indicates that the employee has included a comment with their attendance record.
  • Pin Drop: Allows you to view the location where the employee clocked in or out.
  • Person: Shows that the employee has captured a photo of themselves at the time of check-in or check-out.
  • Clock-In Time Verification: This indicates that the user may have clocked in / out from an unexpected timezone. This feature assists in identifying if a user is manually adjusting the timezone settings on their personal device during clock-in.
  • Offline Mode: When a clock in / out was captured when the device was not connected to the internet, an icon will be displayed to indicate that it was captured offline.
