How to Set Up Notifications on Mobile
Push notifications keep you informed about roster changes, shift invitations, and other important updates from the Timecloud mobile app.
Push Notifications
-
The Timecloud app sends push notifications to your device for key events.
-
Make sure notifications are enabled for the Timecloud app in your device settings:
-
iPhone: Settings > Notifications > Timecloud > Allow Notifications
-
Android: Settings > Apps > Timecloud > Notifications > Enabled
-
Roster Notifications
You may receive notifications for:
-
New shift published — when a manager publishes a new shift on your roster
-
Shift updated — when an existing shift is changed (time, location, etc.)
-
Shift invitation — when you are offered a shift to accept or decline
-
Shift cancelled — when a shift is removed from your roster
Managing Notification Preferences
-
Your company’s admin can configure which notifications are sent via push (mobile app), email, or both.
-
If you are not receiving expected notifications, check:
-
Your device notification settings are enabled for Timecloud
-
Your company has enabled push as a notification channel
-
Your app is up to date
-
Tip: Keep the Timecloud app updated and notifications enabled so you never miss an important shift change.
