How to Set Up Roster Compliance Rules
Compliance rules act as guardrails — they warn you when a schedule breaks labour laws or company policy before you publish, helping you avoid costly compliance issues.
Steps
-
In Shift View, click the Compliance Rules button in the toolbar.

-
Configure rules such as:
-
Minimum rest between shifts — e.g. 10 hours cooldown after a shift.
-
Maximum hours in a rolling period — e.g. no more than 38 hours per 7 days.
-
Maximum consecutive days — e.g. no more than 6 days in a row.
-
Required shift counts — minimum or maximum shifts per period.
-
-
Click Save Rules.

Once rules are active, compliance warning icons ( ! ) appear on employee rows and shift tiles when a rule is broken.
