# How to Switch Between Roster Views

## Timecloud offers two roster layouts so you can view your schedule the way that works best for you.

#### **Steps**

1. Open the **Roster** page.

2. Click the **View** dropdown at the top-left of the toolbar.

3. Select either:
   
     - **Employee View** — Rows are employees, columns are days. Best for seeing each person's full week at a glance.

     - **Shift View** — Rows are shift templates, columns are days. Best for seeing who is assigned to each shift.

Your choice is saved automatically — the roster will open in the same view next time.
