How to Use Job Layers on Timesheets

Job layers let you track which projects, clients, or tasks your team's hours are assigned to.

Viewing Job Layers

  • Toggle Job Layers in the toolbar to expand job costing details on each time entry.

  • See which job items (e.g. project, client, task) are assigned to each check-in.

Assigning Job Items

  • When editing a time entry, select the appropriate job items from the available layers.

  • Multiple layers can be assigned to a single entry depending on your company's configuration.

Tip: Expanding job layers gives you a clear view of how hours are distributed across projects.
