# How to Use Job Layers on Timesheets

## Job layers let you track which projects, clients, or tasks your team's hours are assigned to.

#### **Viewing Job Layers**

- Toggle **Job Layers** in the toolbar to expand job costing details on each time entry.
- See which job items (e.g. project, client, task) are assigned to each check-in.

#### **Assigning Job Items**

- When editing a time entry, select the appropriate **job items** from the available layers.
- Multiple layers can be assigned to a single entry depending on your company's configuration.
