# How to View Leave Balances

## When leave balances are enabled for your company, you can see remaining entitlements directly in the leave table.

### **Where to Find Leave Balances**

- Navigate to the **Leave** page
- A **Leave Balance** column appears in the leave applications table
- Each row shows the remaining balance for that leave type and employee

### **Admin View**

- Admins can see each employee's balance alongside their leave request
- A "last updated" timestamp shows when the balance was last synced

### **Employee View**

- Employees can see their own balance if the leave type is configured to show balances
- Balance visibility depends on the company's leave settings

### **When Requesting Leave**

- If your balance is insufficient for the requested leave, a **Leave Balance Conflict** dialogue will appear
- Employees can choose to **Proceed Anyway**
- Admins can choose to **Approve** or **Decline** despite an insufficient balance
