# How to Copy and Paste Shifts

## Copy & paste lets you duplicate a shift assignment to multiple days or positions quickly — great for repeating patterns without rebuilding from scratch.

### **Steps**

1. Switch to **Shift View**.
2. Select **one source cell** (the shift assignment you want to copy).

4. The grid enters **copy mode** 
5. Click on **target cells** to mark where you want the copy to be  pasted.

6. A **snackbar** appears — click **Save** to apply, or **Cancel** to discard.

**Tip:** This is available in **Shift View** only.
