Helpful Tips for Biometric Scanners

  • Use a microfiber cloth to wipe the glass on the biometric scanners to ensure they are working effectively.
  • To reset the finger and palm biometric scanner use the < arrow key. 
  • Use the packaged wall bracket to mount the scanner in a suitable area.
  • Ensure the WiFi connection is adequate enough with minimal risk of power outages. 
  • Do not place your scanner in an environment with harsh conditions that may cause damage to the internal systems of the device e.g. Exposed to the sun.
  • If you are using a palm or face biometric scanner, do not have the scanner under intense lighting as this may cause the device to not register your print.
