Create, Edit and Remove Geofences

Geofences can be drawn and asigned to jobs in order to notify admins of clock ins not happening within the appropriate zone.

Five steps to create and remove geofences:

1. Open the Map page using the navigation bar on the left of your screen.

2.  If you want to create a Geofence, click on the pencil icon on the right side of the page and select the drawing tool you want to use. 

1. Click and drag on the map to draw your geofence. With the custom tool you can click multiple times to create the desired shape.
2. Once complete, click ‘Save’ (the geofence will turn blue) and select the date you want the Geofence to be applied from.
3. To delete your geofence, select it while in draw mode then click on the bin icon.

Note:

Prompts, reports, and flags can all be driven from staff clocking within or outside your created geofences.

Tools

Custom Tool - For drawing custom shaped geofences.

Circle Tool - For drawing circle geofences.

Box Tool - For drawing box geofences.

Grab Tool - For moving around the map.

Delete Button - For deleting selected geofences.
