Temporary Shifts allow managers to adjust a shift's standard working hours to address specific circumstances, such as employee absences or increased workloads.
1. Navigate to your Roster from the main menu.
2. Change to the Shifts View by clicking the drop down menu.
3. Click on any empty square to begin creating your roster, and then choose the option labeled Add Temporary Shift +
4. From here you can customise the standard shift start and end times, assign employees, select job items, and add any necessary shift comments. Be sure to save your changes to preserve your updates.
5. By switching to the Employee View, you can easily see that a Temporary Shift has been added, marked by a pencil icon. Additionally, you will find details about the shift times and any associated job items.
6. Click on the 'Publish' button to apply the updates to your employees' rosters, ensuring they have the latest shift information.
