Shifts Overview

Dive into the foundation of Timecloud with Shifts. Learn the process of creating Shift Templates and Patterns that align seamlessly with your workflow. Templates are used while Rostering, and we can make as many as needed.

Note: You can archive but not delete Shifts. To minimise clutter, stick to a few new templates or edit the default shifts while learning.

Account Configuration


Take a deep dive into advanced account configuration to tailor Timecloud to your needs. It's best to lean on your Implementation Manager, as they help you through the below steps:

Settings Page Review


Embark on the first step with your Implementation Manager to align your account with company policies on Leave, Overtime, Payroll, and more!

Departments & User Groups

Set up Departments, seperate different locations, and create sub departments to group users for filtering and easy navigation. 

Configure Admin Access

Control who and what the team can see by setting up customised access for individual admins.

Configure Clock in Method 

Choose your preferred clock-in method:

  • Scanner Setup: Navigate the setup of biometrics and connect your scanner to the internet upon its arrival.
  • Mobile App Customisation: Customise the Mobile App experience for each employee.
  • Kiosk Configuration: Learn how to convert the Mobile App to Kiosk Mode, allowing for shared clock in devices.

Configure Job Tracking

Configure layers and job items to choose from for the Mobile App Experience. This includes the optional features of linking, geofencing and more.
